Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 11am

The Harvard Business School Association of Oregon is hosting a case study and meet the CEO discussion during the June Harvest at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm.  You are invited to the farm on Saturday, June 14th at 11am to see the harvest and processing process, meet the managers of the farm and learn about the market for flower bulbs that is served from Oregon.

The Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn is a family run farm. The third generation is now back on the farm, where the Iverson family has been growing tulips since 1974.  They grow tulips, daffodils, and twelve other bulb varieties that are sold as cut flowers, potted plants and bulbs.  You may know them as the hosts of the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival from March 28th to May 4th.  Bulbs are planted in October and harvested in June, for shipment in September & October.
