The State of the Crimson - a talk by Harvard Oregonian James Bikales (Class of 2022)
March 22, 4-5 PM over Zoom
James Bikales (Harvard College 2022) is Managing Editor of the Harvard Crimson, where he oversees all content produced by a staff of roughly 200, distributed through a daily, award-winning newspaper, 24/7 website, and social media channels. Previously, he has interned as a reporter at CalMatters and The Hill. A native of Oregon and a junior at Harvard College studying Government and East Asian Studies, James reported for The Crimson for two years — covering labor and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Administration — before moving into an editor role. His eight-month investigation into faculty sexual harassment in Harvard's Anthropology department led to two senior faculty being placed on leave and was named the top In-Depth News Story of 2020 by the Associated Collegiate Press.
