3rftwywtThe State of the Crimson - Hear about the Harvard Newspaper and Student Life during covid

March 22, 2021, 7-8pm Pacific Time (10-11pm Eastern Time) over Zoom

This event is open to all Harvard alumni from around the world.  Come hear about what life is like at the Harvard Crimson and on campus now during this pandemic year.  Our Speaker:  James Bikales (Harvard College 2022) is Managing Editor of the Harvard Crimson, where he oversees all content produced by a staff of roughly 200, distributed through a daily, award-winning newspaper, 24/7 website, and social media channels. Previously, he has interned as a reporter at CalMatters and The Hill. A native of Oregon and a junior at Harvard College studying Government and East Asian Studies, James reported for The Crimson for two years — covering labor and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Administration — before moving into an editor role. His eight-month investigation into faculty sexual harassment in Harvard's Anthropology department led to two senior faculty being placed on leave and was named the top In-Depth News Story of 2020 by the Associated Collegiate Press.  Click here to read his award winning article
