Borden Beck Holiday Luncheon

December 27, 2018 @ Noon - 2:00p.m.

Must RSVP by December 24th @ 9:00 a.m.

The luncheon is open to all Harvard alumni, current Harvard College students, family, and friends.   We also invite newly admitted members of the Class of 2023 and their guests.  The Harvard Club of Oregon and Southwest Washington covers the cost of the luncheon for current Harvard undergraduate and early admit students, as well guests of early admit students.

It's a great way for our local students to re-connect and also for the graduates to hear the latest news from Cambridge....from a student's perspective.

Join us at the MAC (Multnomah Athletic Club) at Noon for a 12:30 lunch/talk.

Background on Borden Beck

The Borden Beck Scholarship, established in memory of Borden Beck by Loren Wyss and other local donors, honors Borden Beck’s 30-year service as chairperson of the Harvard Schools and Scholarships Committee for Oregon.  The scholarship is presented annually to one or more first-year Harvard students, who normally give a short talk about their experience as an undergraduate from the Pacific Northwest.  Other undergraduate attendees are welcome to participate in sharing their own views during the discussion period.  This luncheon is an excellent opportunity for students and alumni to network and engage in the local community.
