Join the Harvard Club of Oregon and Southwest Washington for an evening of books & wine with Nicholas Kristof (AB ’82) and Sheryl WuDunn (MBA '86) at Stem Wine Bar!
5:30pm - Mix & mingle: Connect with Nick, Sheryl, and other Ivy alumni over sips from Kristof Wines and bites from Stem Wine Bar.
6:30pm - Book chat: Nick will give brief remarks about his new book, Chasing Hope: A Reporter's Life. Copies will be available for purchase.
7:00pm - Book signing & sips: Get your book signed, and continue to mingle and sip — or walk to dinner at a nearby restaurant on Mississippi Ave!
Nicholas Kristof is a graduate of Harvard College, a former member of Harvard University’s Board of Overseers, and a two-time Pulitzer Prize winner. Sheryl WuDunn is a graduate of Cornell, the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton, and Harvard Business School, is a current member of Harvard University’s Board of Overseers, and is the first Asian-American to win a Pulitzer Prize. The pair have worked as journalists and columnists with The New York Times for three decades. They are the first married couple to win a Pulitzer Prize and are the only living married couple to both have served on the Harvard Board of Overseers. Stem Wine Bar is owned by local Cornell alumna Wei-En Tan, a certified sommelier, part-time flight instructor, and former hedge fund manager.
