Group Curling experience
Sunday, February 22, 10-1PM @ Evergreen Curling Club PDX
Conclude the Winter Olympics festivities with the Harvard Club as we learn the fascinating sport of curling! This engaging lesson on the ice will serve as our very own closing ceremony, commemorating the final day of the games. No prior experience is necessary; their instructors will teach you everything you need to know. Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the sport, come discover why curling is called "chess on ice" and enjoy a unique winter experience with fellow club members and friends. We have capacity for up to 30 people and will have time for a break to socialize in the middle. Kids aged 10+ are welcome.

Important Information for Your Visit:
-
What to Wear: Check out our Clothing Recommendations, including what is not allowed. Shoes with a rubber sole are highly recommended for safety and grip on the ice.
-
Finding Us: Learn how to find our semi-hidden facility. Please plan to arrive approximately 10-15 minutes prior to your event start time to allow for check-in and preparation. We kindly ask that you avoid parking in front of our neighbors.
-
Required Waiver: Please sign our required waiver today! Do not wait until you arrive, as it may delay the start of the lesson. If you have a Sports Engine account, you will need to sign in prior to signing the waiver.
-
Upon Arrival: Please check-in near the bar, and then find a pair of "grippers" to fit over your sneakers – club members will be present to assist you. As always, outside food and observers for your event are welcome at no additional cost. You are welcome to patronize our bar, but please do not consume any more alcohol before going onto the ice than you would before driving. You may carry in sneakers & socks, but sandals or high heeled shoes are forbidden in the ice house.
