Join fellow Harvard alumni for an intimate afternoon at Kristof Farms, the family vineyard of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists and Harvard alumni Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn, located near Yamhill in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

Enjoy a behind-the-scenes visit to the farm, along with a tasting of estate wines and hard ciders paired with light appetizers. Nick and Sheryl will share their connection to the land, their journey from journalism to winemaking, and the story behind Kristof Farms.

Tickets are $30 per person and include light appetizers and wine tasting. Your $30 ticket price will be credited toward a purchase of six or more bottles of wine and/or cider at the event. Space is limited to 30 guests, so early registration is encouraged.

Speakers' Biographies

Nicholas Kristof and Sheryl WuDunn are the first married couple to win a Pulitzer Prize, recognized for their reporting from China on the pro-democracy movement and its suppression. Nick later won a second Pulitzer Prize for his columns spotlighting the genocide in Darfur. Nick is a New York Times columnist and previously served in senior editorial roles at the Times, including responsibility for Sunday editions. Sheryl is a former Times reporter and editor and is the co-founder of FullSky Partners, which advises mission-driven ventures and supports innovations in healthcare. Together, they have authored five best-selling books, including Tightrope in 2020 and the No. 1 best-seller Half the Sky, and their work has also reached audiences through documentaries. Nick grew up in Yamhill, Oregon, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard, and studied at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar; his memoir is Chasing Hope. Sheryl currently serves on the Harvard University Board of Overseers. They live on the Kristof family farm near Yamhill and produce estate wine and hard cider through Kristof Farms.
